Brian Simpson - Founder/Owner
Brian earned a MBA with emphasis on Engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (B.A.S). He applied his learnings and career experiences to fulfill roles as an Electronics Engineer; Journeyman Electrician; Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor; Instrumentation and Automation Engineer; Planning and Scheduling Superintendent; Maintenance Manager; Engineering Manager; and General Manager.
Career experience includes military contracting; chemical manufacturing; mining and mineral processing; industrial incineration; oil and gas refining; and medical device manufacturing.
Qualifications include Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Radiation Safety Office (RSO), Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), and completed Lean Principles training and gained his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Tim Juvera - Senior Consultant
Tim has deep experience with global and domestic mining industries in both line and functional roles and has led diverse teams to accomplish stretch goals while exceeding expectations through his leadership. His focus is always on people development, pragmatic goal setting, and team accountability.
Career experience includes leadership of front-line maintenance and operation teams including safety leadership, team leadership, asset management, operational readiness, maintenance planning, strategic planning, lean process management, people development, maintenance engineering, project management, energy, and contractor management.
Qualifications include US Military Veteran, BS in Engineering Management with a Mechanical Minor, directed work in the Asset Management field, is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), and trained in Lean Principles and Project Management.
Bryan Pett - Senior Consultant
Bryan has broad experience with global and domestic mining industry in both line and functional roles and possesses a strong understanding of the required systems, symbols, and behaviors for successful teams and businesses.
Career experience includes leadership of front-line maintenance and operational teams, manager and general manager level of Human Resources and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) and Processing Operations. He has led major projects including the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for a large business. His experience also includes business improvement and leadership coaching in multiple countries.
Qualifications includes BS in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), and an MBA, completed the Lee Hecht Harrison Coach Training program and Duke Leadership Development Program, and is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
Jennifer Throndsen - Senior Consultant
Jennifer is recognized as an educator in her fields of expertise with over 20 years of experience. This has provided her a deep understanding of adult learning principles while working closely with organizations to design strategic plans aligned to their vision with actionable goals.
She specializes in helping organizations navigate the complexities of growth and change and uses a collaborative, facilitative approach to guide leadership teams in the development and implementation of strategic plans that address both short-term objectives and long-term success.
Qualifications includes Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master’s in Education. Certification in Administration.
Chanthy Hamlin - Senior Consultant
Chanthy has extensive experience in process improvement, risk management, and project management. She is recognized for her strong interpersonal skills in facilitating complex workshops to help teams identify strategic business gaps and deficiencies through collaboration and facilitation of risk and opportunities analysis and management workshops to improvement decision making, leverage opportunities to improve business cases, maximize project value, optimize planning and prioritization, leading to a higher confidence in plans, projects, and their execution to ensure sustainable success.
Career experience includes project management manager, capital project portfolio manager, business development project manager, projects senior engineer, and senior risk advisor.
Qualifications includes Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering, MBA, and is a PMI - PMP certified Project Manager.
John Wright - Partner
John served a 5-year mechanical apprenticeship in England where he graduated as a Mechanical Engineer. He started his career as a mechanical millwright and rapidly moved up the corporate ladder holding various professional and management roles. As Corporate Manager for a global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) company he led the Professional Services Organization. He also held several influential roles with a global mining company including Operational Readiness Manager responsible for delivering multi-million-dollar turnkey brownfield projects.
Career experience as a consultant includes aerospace, automotive, chemical, education, enterprise software development, logistics, manufacturing, mining, nuclear, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power generation, supply chain, and warehousing.
Qualifications include being a four-discipline engineer in Mechanical, Maintenance, Reliability, and Quality Assurance Engineering, certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), and is formally trained in Lean Principles.
